Review and Swatch: Wet n’Wild Idol Eyes crème eyeshadow pencil in 134 Distress

Blue eyeliner has made resurgence off of Chanel’s use of it in their Spring 2014 collection.  I, of course, had to try this out but on a more subtle level.  Since this is very much a fad, I went cheap with Wet n’ Wild.
This product is technically a crème eyeshadow, but the pencil is fine enough for me to apply it under my eyes. This also works well in making a nice cat eye; I just apply it with a small concealer brush.I don’t particularly like the teal color used by chanel, so I went with a more wearable medium blue.

The pencil also has a slight iridescence/ shimmer. The pencil applies well without tugging, but unfortunately smudges extremely easily. This pencil also isn’t automatic; it is the traditional sharpening kind. It had a slight crayon scent.

For only about $2, this was a good product to try out, but if I was serious about wearing blue eyeliner often I would go for a smudge proof pencil.

  1. Hi! Is it still advisable to use this eyeliner after I just had undergone eye bag removal surgery just?
